Maintenance Technician

SmartTalent is hiring for a Food Production company in Redmond. This is a Temp to Hire Maintenance Specialist position that offer full time hours. Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience maintaining and repairing production equipment with Programming controlling knowledge!

PAY: $25 - $35 DOE 

LOCATION: Redmond, WA

SCHEDULE:

Day Shift: 4am - 12pm; 430am 1 -pm; or 6am – 230pm 

Swing Shift: 11am - 730pm or 1pm - 930pm 

Night Shift: 8pm - 430am 

Weekend Shift: Fri & Sat 1030am - 11pm or 12pm - 1230am; Sunday 12pm - 1230am or 4pm - 430am

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide variety of equipment associated with the production facility.

• Responsible for monitoring and adjusting various plant functions such as chemical systems, water usage and selected equipment efficiencies throughout the facility.

• Responsible for contributing to the overall preventative maintenance program within the current framework as directed.

• Responsible for completing speedy and effective maintenance during plant downtime as directed.

• Responsible for providing well-arranged documentation of work tasks and contributing to the overall record keeping effort.

• Responsible for making sure all work tasks assigned/taken on are driven by and logged into the official work order system

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• One to two years of experience in production equipment repair and maintenance, preferably with some experience within the company at a Technician Trainee level.

• Demonstrated mechanical ability required.

• Must be able to operate high-lifts/forklifts and pallet jacks as well as tall ladders.

• Must have no fear of heights.

• Knowledge of and training in a specialized discipline, such as refrigeration, hydraulics, power plant operations or other a plus.

• Must be able to follow directions.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision required.

• Good oral and written communication skills required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
