Scope of Duties

At Caring for Family of Companies we look for people with a nurturing spirit and a genuine desire to support and care for others. In this role, you can expect some or all of the following duties:

PROGRAM EXPERTISE ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT LICENSE / SYSTEMS UTILIZATION 

  • Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office Suite Account Management 
  • Sharepoint Account Management 
  • Printing Program Account Management
  • Cost and Utilization Analysis of All IT and Systems Programs and Contracts 

 IT EQUIPMENT PURCHASING ASSET INVENTORY EMPLOYEE ACCESS 

  • Equipment Ordering, Set Up, and Shipping - inc. phones, computers, printers, locks, digital keys, cords, etc 
  • Equipment Inventorying, including maintaining a database of all tech inventory, including serial numbers 
  • Equipment Maintenance, including coordinating with outside vendors 
  • Equipment Troubleshooting - ex: phones, computers, printers, etc
  • Working knowledge of Netsuite, Celigo, Microsoft 365 and Azure 
  • Production of Training and How-To manuals for employee use and understanding 
  • New Employee Tech Onboarding Set Up and Trainings, including: 
    • Set up Company Project Management Accounts
    • Set up Phone, Phone Trees, Ring Groups, VOIP, Voicemail and Phone Extension
    • Set up Email/Outlook, Email Groups, Login/Passwords
    • Set up Laptop w/ Pre-Installed Fonts and Platforms
    • Set up Digital Property Keycard Access 
    • Programming Laptops 

 DATA PROTECTION SYSTEM SECURITY 

  • Facilitate weekly communications, summarizing project status, needs, updates …
  • Create secure infrastructure for IT department, including: 
  • Assisting with Shared Drive/IT Company Migration
  • Assisting with Security and Protections for Company Files/Server 
  • Create IT department policy and procedures for: 
  • Saving to Server including File Naming 
  • Backing Up Files 
  • Use of Technology and Company Property/Equipment 
  • Login and Password Security 
  • Phishing Scams, Foreign Attachments, etc 
  • Protecting Assets from weather, theft, etc… 
  • Hardware and software restrictions on computer devices
  • Work with outside vendors to streamline and optimize IT functionality, including:
  • Web hosting and platform management 
  • Wireless internet optimization 
  • Build Infrastructure for future growth of IT department, including:
  • Maintain vendor list with all pricing, contracts, contact info, service scope, etc… 
  • Maintain staff director, revising and updating as needed 
  • Assist in providing asset security, including developing hardware and software restrictions on computers/devices 
  • Weather and safety preparation and environmental modifications (as needed)
  • Coordination with landlords of local branches as needed 
  • Errands, purchasing, and property procurement as needed (including: post office, hardware, outside vendors)
