  • Base pay: $17-$21 per hour, based on experience and education

Job Summary:

DUCG is seeking a full-time Clinical Medical Assistant with an MA diploma or 1 year of on-the-job experience. Preferably, our next team member will be familiar with blood draws, administering injections, and verifying insurance.

We have 3 different scheduling models for our clinical staff to choose from, with at least 1 on-call shift each week (comes with $50 on-call shift bonus!)

Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications

- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits

- Assist with patient procedures

- Provide warm and inviting customer service to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort

- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and handling patient registration

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:

- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program, OR 1 year of on-the-job training as a Medical Assistant

- New grads from MA training are encouraged to apply!

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
