Pete's Restaurant & Brewhouse is Hiring a Busser/Food Runner Near Redding, CA

Responsibilities

Service with a smile

Ensure guest satisfaction throughout entire meal service including refilling drinks, and anticipating guest needs

Greet guests promptly with adequate menu knowledge

Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to the service of alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests

Provide guests with insights into which beverages may complement their dishes

Suggest appetizer & dessert options

Taking drink & food orders, tendering payment, pre-bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness & stock of front-of-house areas, as well as working with support staff to ensure the restaurant is always in pristine condition

Requirements

Minimum 1-year prior serving experience

Must be 18 years of age or older

Team player, ability to work in a faced paced environment

Ability to operate computerized POS system

Attentiveness & punctuality

Ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal)

Ability to keep server areas organized, clean, and well-stocked

Must possess a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers

Ability to perform physically demanding work (e.g. carrying plates, standing for several hours, etc.)

Possess a California Food Handlers Certificate

Host/Busser/Runner

Responsibilities

Service with a smile

Timely greeting & seating of guests

Deliver meal items in a timely manner from kitchen to guest

Clearance of plates & glasses from tables and the bussing (or “flipping”) of tables and chairs to pristine condition

Aiding in opening and closing procedures such as resetting chairs and cleaning floors

Maintaining cleanliness & stock of front-of-house areas

Requirements

Requirements:
