Thalle Construction Co. Inc. (“Thalle”) is seeking a Journeyman-level Millwright. The Millwright will work closely with and support the operations team, interact with a variety of staff at all levels and uphold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This position is located in Red Oak, Texas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, dismantle, maintain, repair, reassemble, move machinery according to blueprints, plans, drawings.
• Move machinery using power tools, dollies, rollers, hoists.
• Experience working on wastewater treatment plant a plus.
• Utilize laser alignment tool, micrometers, plum bobs, etc.
• Experience with belt, chain, and screw conveyors, industrial pumps; hydraulic controls and regulators; piping systems.
• Test and diagnose systems for functionality and repair.
• Evaluates function of HVAC equipment and repairs as needed.
• Other routine plumbing, carpentry as needed.
• Able to read blueprints and sketches.
• Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to receive written or oral instructions
• Establish and maintain effective working relationship with field and office personnel
• Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety, looking out for yourself and others
• 4 years of Millwright, or equivalent, experience

Physical Requirements:

• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Work long shifts.
• Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times.
• Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.
• Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen.
