Position Posting
Position Title: Classroom Instructional Aide (PT)
Location: Wyomissing Hills Elementary Center
Min. Starting Rate: $15.00/hour
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Prior experience working with children
- Ability to work independently with minimal
supervision
- Ability to apply excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Current Act 34, 114, and 151 Clearances upon hire
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Work with individual students as well as small groups of students under
the direction of the classroom teacher
- Assist teacher in record keeping
- Assist monitoring cafeteria and recess periods
- Assist teacher in materials preparation
- Understand/utilize classroom management plan established by teacher
- Escort students to specials, lunch, etc.
