You will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by performing CT scans and ensuring accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanner to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs, bones, and tissues.
- Accurately position patients for examinations and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform contrast media administration (intravenous and oral) when necessary.
- Document patient information and scan details accurately in electronic medical records.
- Maintain a clean and organized CT scanning suite.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest CT scanning techniques and protocols.
- Must have a Post High School Diploma in CT Technology or a related field from an accredited program.
- New graduates are welcome!
- Relevant experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Must be a Registered Technologist (RT) with a CT specialty (ARRT) certification: ARRT (R)(CT), ARRT (RT)(CT), or ARRT (N)(CT).
- Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with various healthcare professionals.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in medical terminology and electronic medical records systems (e.g., Microsoft Outlook).
- Strong ability to listen to patients and address their concerns.
