  • The ability to assemble products by fastening parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
  • The ability to operate hand tools or portable power tools to assist in the assembly operation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Hunter offers $20.40 as the starting rate with opportunities for advancement in level and pay.Hunter is hiring for 1st shift (7:00AM - 3:30 PM ).Hunter could be a great fit for you! Hunter was named a 2022 finalist for Best Places to Work award by St. Louis Business Journal.The Assembler assembles metal products, partially or completely, working at a bench or on the shop floor.
What You Will Do
  • Assemble products by fastening parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
  • Operate hand tools or portable power tools to assist in the assembly operation.
  • Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled and/or following blueprints.
  • Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
  • Frequent standing, lifting, and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Observes and follows all safety rules.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications Include
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as an extension to a normal workday or on weekends, as scheduled.
