General Aluminum Mfg. Company (GAMCO) was founded in 1943 and provides highly engineered casting solutions to our customers.

GAMCO has six North American manufacturing facilities, we produce aluminum castings for both the automotive and non-automotive industries. We offer our customers a variety of cast processes to meet our customer's needs by providing high quality castings at a competitive price. These processes include Low Pressure Permanent Mold, Counter Pressure Casting, Gravity Permanent Mold, Semi-Permanent Mold, Lost Foam, and High Pressure Die Cast.

We are on the hunt for two CMM employee's for our plant in Rootstown Ohio split over two 8 hour shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify parts are within customer specifications and report deviation from print specifications.
• Calibration and homing of CMM tables prior to usage.
• Loading parts to be measured onto the proper CMM fixturing device, selecting the appropriate CMM program to be run, and proper archiving and/or uploading of the inspection data.
• Reviewing the data and notifying the part supervisor of any points which do not conform to program specifications.
• Aware of consequences to employee, customer and environment if procedures are not followed.

Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws, polices, and rules. Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance as determined by company. Must be regularly available to work at least 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Must be available and willing to work such overtime as is necessary or desirable to meet business needs. Must be able to stand, bend and stoop. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift up to 5 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include 20/40 correctable vision, close vision, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception.

When working in the plant, noise may exceed 85db must wear hearing protection and exposure to extreme heat. Safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and steel toed boots with met guards are required.
