Direct Support Professional

Looking for a kind, caring, patient, and compassionate DSP (Direct Support Professional)

We are looking for someone who is outgoing and fun for a vibrant person who enjoys getting out and being active. This person lives in her own home. (This is not a group home setting)

The ideal candidate's qualities would include but are not limited to:

· Go-getter- GET UP AND GET MOVING!

· Encourages outdoor settings, getting out in the community.

Getting out to explore and engage in fun activities; examples may include but are not limited to:

· Farms, petting zoos, and feeding animals.

· Movies/plays

· Listening to Bands

· Peddlers’ village

· Volunteer opportunities

· Gym, exercise classes, dance class

· Ziplining

· Haunted hayrides/seasonal adventurous

· Art/crafts

· Aquarium

· Hikes

· Hobbies

· Loves small Dogs and cats.

Flexible daytime schedule:

A few hours a day to build up a relationship then more added to equal roughly 12 hours a week.

Start/end time is flexible based on the day’s activities planned.

Monday 12-4

Wednesday 12-4

Thursday- 12-4

Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.

You will be required to have a background check and drug screen.

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation.

Starting at $21.00 per hour
