UFG is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician whose primary focus will be to assist in providing a safe and healthy work environment for all UFG offices and employees.

Responsibilities:

• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols
• Conduct maintenance of electrical systems
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations
• Complete Preventative Maintenance and daily Service Requests as assigned
• Inspect alarm systems and quickly schedule repairs when needed
• Assist in snow removal and landscaping
• Escort and assist with all required inspections and testing
• Complete all required training and testing
• Assist with moves and reconfiguring of office furniture
• Rotating on call schedule
• Limited off-hour duties (Weekends, nights, holidays)

Qualifications:

Education:

• HS Diploma. Technical training a plus.

Experience:

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems..
• Basic knowledge of Building Automation Systems (Lutron, Niagara).
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment including fork lift and small hand tools.
