Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience teaching in a Kindergarten – 5th grade classroom

Knowledge of:

Classroom management strategies and approaches to creating and maintaining a classroom environment of safety, respect, and learning

Conflict resolution strategies to support healthy social development in children

Plan and implement an integrated curriculum for specific teaching assignments

Create and maintain a classroom environment that supports learning

Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds and learning styles.

Collaborate with colleagues in order to enhance the instructional environment.

Build personal relationships with all students that demonstrate respect and compassion.

Maintain a classroom atmosphere that is safe, accepting, positive, and interactive.

Create opportunities for students to learn with and from each other through varied groupings, partnerships, and shared learning experiences.

Communicate effectively, both orally & in writing, with students, parents, & colleagues

Maintain effective and efficient record-keeping procedures.

Complete and submit lesson plans, assessment data, progress reports, narratives, and other documentation as requested

Participate professionally in scheduled meetings

Model professional behaviors and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and the broader community.

Maintain reliable, consistent attendance and punctuality

Adhere to school policies, procedures, and deadlines

Perform other duties as assigned

Assist in other school programs when necessary

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
