- Analyze software requirements within time and cost constraints
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to evaluate system requirements
- Develop software specifications and documentation
- Coordinate software release process and installation procedures

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in firmware development for network hardware
- Proficiency in C/C , DOS, LINUX shell scripts
- Familiarity with Windows and LINUX operating systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Professional conduct and appearance
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft programs
- Must be a US Citizen, Permanent US Resident, or authorized to work in the US
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs
- Use of computers, phones, and other office equipment
- Vision abilities including close vision and peripheral vision
- Desk and workbench environment in the engineering lab
- Moderate noise level
- Occasional exposure to electrical shock
