Victoria Animal Hospital is seeking a full time or part time veterinary technician to join our team. We have been serving the community for over 30 years. We have a unique culture in our hospital that values each person’s individual skills and personality.

. Our hospital is equipped with Avimark software, inhouse imaging digital x- ray , ultrasound, Dental equipment, in house labs, cold laser and digital dental radiography. Experience is not necessary required but it is highly preferred. We are willing to train the right candidate, but all candidates may go through a working interview so they can see what life is like in a hospital.

The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

- assisting in Physical examinations and patient assessment

-Anesthesia monitoring & Surgical preparation

-  Catheter placement ,collecting and running laboratory samples

-Patient recovery and Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week

Qualifications
- Veterinary experience
- Animal handling skills
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology
- Familiarity with animal physiology
- Experience with medical imaging
- Ability to handle animal catheterization and restraint
- Understanding of animal anatomy
- Previous veterinary technician experience
- Proficiency in pet care
- Premium skills such as kennel experience and equine experience are a plus
