Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing all issues related to revenue cycle
  • Supervises staff, assigns work accordingly to maximize productivity and instructs in proper billing procedures
  • Responsible for writing procedures and job aides consistent with established DHMF / CSH policies
  • Develop and maintain audit program to ensure adherence to established DHMF / CSH policies and compliance directives
  • Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Manager ensures all regulatory, HIPAA, Health and Safety, and other compliance directives meet standards
  • Ensures organizational goals, benchmarks and objectives meet or exceed standards
  • Maintain and improve operations through efficient use of organizational resources and systems
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training of employees per DHMF / CSH policies and procedures
  • Responsible for appraisal of work performance including annual employee performance reviews, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving issues per DHMF / CSH policies and procedures
  • Serves as liaison between business partners, clients and staff
  • This position may have access to third party credit card information and transactional systems (cash registers, point of sale devices, applications supporting credit card transactions, and reports or other documents containing credit card information) from single transactions or a single card at a time.
  • Other duties as necessary and / or assigned to maintain department functions

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Three years’ experience working in healthcare revenue cycle and / or a professional medical office. One year experience in a lead / supervisory capacity.
  • AA / AS degree and / or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required
  • Must possess the personal characteristics of professionalism, credibility and commitment to high standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and team-building skills.

Must be a self-starter who is accountable and requires minimal direction and supervision. Must be creative, flexible, open to new ideas and able to adapt to change quickly and smoothly.

Demonstrated analytical skills to identify key issues from large amounts of detailed data. Working knowledge of computers and proficiency in using Email systems, Internet and office software applications

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in a lead / supervisory role in Healthcare Revenue Cycle.
  • AA / AS degree in Health Care Administration or related field.
  • Knowledge of professional billing regulations, claims and billing procedures.
  • Experience with IDX Practice Management System
  • Knowledge of Google Suite

This postion will be remote with 1 day in the office.
