This individual will be assisting the Physical Therapy department, faculty, and the Ruskin facility. Duties may include but are not limited to: Teaching assistant in Dr. of Physical Therapy courses Conduct open lab sessions Classroom/lab set up or break down Special projects associated with Gannon University. The student in this position may be asked to assist with other projects, and potentially other programs, as needed. Required Qualifications

* Entering the second year, or enrolled as a second year student, in the DPT program in Ruskin, FL;

* Cumulative GPA through Spring 2023 of 3.5 or higher with an A- or better in GGDPT 800 and an A- or better in GGDPT 817;

* Excellent communications skills;

* Highly organized;

* Good attention to detail;

* Demonstrated mastery and confidence in the knowledge and skills gain in both GGDPT 800 and GGDPT 817;

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel);

* Self-starter.

Physical Demands

1) Should be able to bend, lift, push, and pull as needed to set up/tear down lab equipment.

2) May be asked to lift up to 50 pounds.

3) May be asked to walk campus multiple times a day.
