The Fairfield Inn and Suites, Queensbury is looking for a part time house person with availability to be flexible with shifts. Duties include but are not limited to promptly responding to requests from guests and other departments. Responsible for cleanliness of hotel property inside and outside on the hotel grounds. Clean, organize and stock storage areas with amenities and linens. Responsible for cleanliness of all hotel public space including but not limited to Lobby, Halls, Laundry, Public Bathrooms, Pool, and Fitness Center. Assist in other operations of housekeeping including washing, drying, folding and laundry. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Post caution signs. Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs. Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, soiled linens, and trash placed near Housekeeper carts. Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
