Job Description:
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for relationship sales development for business customers with Treasury Management product and service’s needs. Provides support and service for the treasury management needs of business banking clients. They will work with all calling officers in both the Commercial and Retail lines of business in the markets that they serve and will be responsible for keeping their Regions current on Treasury Management and Commercial Services issues, including training on the Treasury Management and Commercial Services products. They will have annual revenue production goals. They will be expected to provide calling and pipeline information in accordance with directions as set by management. A majority of their calling activities will be done jointly with Commercial and Retail calling officers, but they will also be expected to do calling on their own to self-source opportunities and cross-sell opportunities to all lines of business in the bank. They will be expected to be active in their communities and to establish both networking opportunities and centers of influence. Work to strengthen cross selling relationships with retail and commercial lending areas. Travel is required.
TM1 introductory position with the capabilities to make customer calls and develop a broad level of TM product knowledge. Under limited supervision, assume primary contact role for small to medium sized businesses, selling TM services when customers inquire a need is discovered. Requires business development skills. Treasury Management sales officers are responsible for the sales activities to existing and prospective business customers. Proactively deliver service/product solutions to current and prospective clients on a needs-based, cost-benefit driven model. This includes the development of new profitable Treasury management relationships and the ongoing consultative support for TM clients. This person proactively works with Commercial Lenders and Retail Bankers to coordinate the sales strategies to support revenue growth and business development efforts. Able to assist complex clients along with possessing and utilizing exceptional organizational and time management skills.
TM 2 2-5 years of experience in a related TM sales field. Strong TM product knowledge with the ability to manage and attain larger portfolios. Under limited supervision, Treasury Management sales representatives are responsible for the sales activities to existing and prospective business customers. They will proactively deliver service/product solutions to current and prospective clients on a needs-based, cost-benefit driven model. This includes the development of new profitable Treasury management relationships and the ongoing consultative support for TM clients. This person proactively works with Commercial Lenders and Retail Bankers to coordinate the sales strategies to support revenue growth and business development efforts. Able to assist complex clients along with possessing and utilizing exceptional organizational and time management skills. Development of business through calling on all ranges of businesses. The main function should be the support of current clients and prospects with assigned relationship offices when one is in place. Assist in identifying additional sales/service opportunities. Manage referrals in conjunction with the lender or retail banker as needed.

Post High School Degree, Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; or three or more years of related experience in Treasury Management and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of an in-depth background in sales, and customer service. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry.
