Real Estate company based out of Puyallup is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the upkeep of our commercial contractor yards and truck parking yards in Puyallup and surrounding areas.

Job Description:

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll take charge of the continuous maintenance and repair of our commercial properties, parking yards, and buildings. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Ø Conducting routine inspections of equipment and facilities

Ø Mowing and trimming grass and bushes around the property

Ø Handling basic plumbing & heating repairs

Ø Clearing gutters, ditches, catch basins and maintaining landscape around buildings.

Ø Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness of bathrooms.

Ø Leveling and graveling areas as needed

Ø Operating and maintaining equipment such as bobcats for various tasks

Ø Monitoring parking areas and ensuring orderly Truck parking.

Ø Installing temporary fences and monitoring existing fences for security

Ø Installing and maintaining security cameras

Ø Conducting minor repairs and light maintenance tasks on buildings and equipment

Ø Marking & maintaining lines in the yard for trucks

Ø Ensure water flows away from buildings.

Ø Monitoring for and addressing oil leaks in parking areas.

Ø Inspecting rental properties periodically or as needed

Ø Repairing pump houses and containers as required

Ø Assisting with snow removal and salting during winter months

Ø Coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks

Ø Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities and expenses

Ø Responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or management

Ø Showing the properties to the potential tenants.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management required.

· Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely.

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
