The Primary Health Network is Hiring a Medical Assistant - per diem Near Punxsutawney, PA
Position Overview
Assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this might include both clinical and front desk duties.
Location and Hours of Position
PHN Punxsutawney: 200 Prushnok Drive Punxsutawney, PA
Up to 29 hours per week between:
Monday- Thursday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
Friday 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
NO WEEKENDS
Compensation
Position starts at $17.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and/or two years experience in a clinical setting
- Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
- Administering Medication
- Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
- Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction
- Computer proficient
