Luminosity Health and Wellness, LLC is a comprehensive pain management group located in Colorado Springs, CO that specializes in treating complex advanced chronic pain patients. We are looking to expand into Pueblo Colorado to assist in providing comprehensive pain management to an undeserved area. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner needed for growing, outpatient comprehensive pain management practice in Pueblo, CO. The practitioner will provide the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex chronic pain problems, including relevant medical and psychological conditions. Other specific pain-related duties may include but are not limited to prescription and oversight of medication maintenance/management, TPI w/ iontophoresis, dry needling w/ e-stim & photo biomodulation, neurocognitive assessment & cognitive behavioral therapy, post-procedure follow up after outpatient pain interventions with our interventional pain partners. Role involves establishing care to new patients and providing continuing exemplary care for established patients. Provider will be proficient in performing comprehensive and musculoskeletal exams, conducting patient interviews including obtaining, updating and studying medical histories, skilled in diagnosis and medical decision-making, adept in ordering diagnostic such as x-rays and laboratory studies and interpreting results as well as multi-modal medication management and versed in referring for conservative therapies outside the clinic as well as interventional treatments with our interventional partners.

Location of Position is in Pueblo, CO.

The office hours are Tuesday 9 A.M. – 6 P.M. Wednesday – Friday 8 A.M. – 5 P.M. OFF Saturday, Sunday &Monday.

Expectations: The provider must be comfortable with establishing and maintaining a comprehensive treatment plan for patients, recommending options and courses of action for patient care, and providing continuity of care by developing and implementing patient-management plans including medication maintenance and referring for conservative therapies externally, and interventional treatments with our interventional partners. Provider will instruct and counsel patients by providing normal growth and development information and providing counseling to improve activities of daily living while providing thorough and accurate documentation of chart notes in an acceptable time frame. Complies with organizational policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; and enforcing adherence to requirements. The provider will develop health care team stat by providing information, and educational and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in pain management, critical care, and orthopedics, but we are willing to train right candidate.

Qualifications:

Active Colorado advanced practice nursing license.

Previous experience in pain management, critical care or orthopedics are strongly encouraged to apply.

Ability to establish and build rapport with patients.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Excellent time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong leadership qualities.

Active DEA license and full prescriptive authority.

Experience in Pain Medicine is a plus but not essential, willing to train the right candidate.
