Job Summary: The Research Assistant performs duties related to non-clinical aspects of clinical research trials including recruitment and screening of subjects, data and specimen collection and submission to the sponsor. The incumbent works with outside vendors representing Oncology Research as appropriate to the clinical research trials. The Research Assistant facilitates clinic flow of protocol patients during study visits ensuring patients maintain compliance with the research protocol. The Research Assistant must be organized, detail oriented, and have good communication skills.
Specifications: Bachelors Degree required with one to three years clinical research experience preferred, including data collection and entry, or equivalent combination of education and experience (at least five year's experience without Bachelors Degree). Must have good organizational and communication skills and be proficient in the English language.
