Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Your expertise in irrigation techniques and equipment will contribute to the overall success of our landscaping projects.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, sprinklers, and controllers
- Perform regular maintenance on irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems and make necessary repairs
- Collaborate with landscape designers to plan and implement irrigation systems for new projects
- Monitor water usage and adjust irrigation schedules as needed to conserve water
- Operate power tools and hand tools to dig trenches, install pipes, and set up sprinkler heads
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in irrigation installation and maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in irrigation work
- Familiarity with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues with irrigation systems
- Mechanical knowledge to repair or replace faulty components
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
