Crave Cookies is a place where every cookie tells a story! We are a locally owned cookie shop known for our delightful variety of homemade cookies, exceptional customer service, and warm, welcoming atmosphere.

As a Shift leader, you'll be the heart and soul of our store. Your main responsibilities will include:

Customer Service

• Maintain exceptional customer service at all times.
• Instill the meaning of customer service in the employees during your shift.
• Greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store.
• Be available to all customers to communicate and identify their needs and address their questions and concerns.
• Use “your best judgment” at all times.
• Work to make customers, not just sales (create customers for life).
• Maintain constant communication with all members of the management team.
• Complete Customer Incident Form whenever necessary and notify management immediately.
• Understand the spirit of solving customer incidents and what it takes to make a customer happy.
• Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude while cooperating with teamwork.
• Apply the above standards to all phone inquires, catering orders, etc.
• Create “seamless customer service” by making every effort to focus on speed of service and peak time readiness.
• Promote quality service by setting an example.

Operations

• Assume responsibility for your shift and be available and able to either open and close the store.
• Maintain all equipment and report any issues to management.
• Maintain a clean and well organized store.
• Manage weekly and monthly cleaning lists.
• Enforce and follow all food safety guidelines as set forth by the Food Safety Policy.
• Maintain store security system, including overall store security and cash handling.
• Assist in daily monitoring of food usage and controls (ex. Enforcing formulas, loss prevention)
• Follow directions regarding signing of deliveries, check in, and store transfers.
• Ensure damaged and defective goods are not accepted or report them immediately.
• Ensure all staff remains on task and is focused on tasks needed for optimal operations.
• Ensures adequate cookie inventory and makes judgement calls to ensure we don’t run out.

**Qualifications:**

- A love for cookies and a passion for customer service.

- Basic baking and decorating skills are a plus.

- Previous leadership in food industry required.

- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Must be at least 16 years of age.

-Strong understanding of social media a plus.
