Quality Control Inspector – Princeton, New Jersey

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team. The QC Inspector will be responsible for the incoming inspection of parts and devices, ensuring all components meet our stringent quality standards. This role requires a strong communicator with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing demands.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct incoming QC inspections of parts and devices.
• Inspect printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and mechanical parts.
• Review and manage paperwork and documentation related to inspections.
• Communicate effectively with distribution, supplier teams, and manufacturing.
• Support the equipment team with documentation needs.
• Manage simple incidents that do not require escalation to engineering.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, especially IPC-A-610.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• High School Diploma required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.

• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience with PCBA inspections and limited electrical knowledge.
• IPC-A-610 certification is hugely helpful.
• Experience with PCBAs and mechanical parts inspection.
• Experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

• Skills:
• Strong communication skills, able to interact with cross-functional (XFN) teams.
• Baseline critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, especially when inspecting PCBs with 400 components.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some experience in a similar role is preferred, but candidates newly out of a technical program are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in documentation review and support.

Term and Start

• 6 month contract
• On-site in Princeton, New Jersey
• Pay rate: $23-27/HR
