Responsibilities:
- Groom pets according to specific breed standards and customer preferences
- Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur or feathers
- Clip nails, clean ears, and perform other grooming tasks as needed
- Assess pets' health and report any abnormalities to the owner or veterinarian
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety during grooming procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about grooming techniques and pet care
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area

Requirements:
- Previous experience in pet grooming or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the groomer and the pet
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a professional and friendly manner
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming tasks
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy pets if necessary

Skills:
- Pet grooming: Proficiency in various grooming techniques such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling
- Pet sitting: Experience in providing care for pets in the absence of their owners, including feeding, exercising, and administering medication if needed
- Dog handling: Skill in safely handling dogs during grooming procedures or other interactions
- Animal restraint: Knowledge of proper techniques for restraining animals during grooming or veterinary procedures
- Kennel: Familiarity with kennel operations, including cleaning, feeding, and providing exercise for boarded animals
- Customer service: Ability to communicate effectively with pet owners, address their concerns, and provide exceptional service
- Animal handling: Skill in safely handling various types of animals, including dogs, cats, and small mammals
