**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist during all procedures related to endodontics, including root canals, retreatments, and apicoectomies. The office is planning to open in July.

**Duties:**

- Prepare patients for dental work and treatment procedures

-Setup operatories for treatment procedures

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Maintain accurate patient records and create reports to send back to referring dentists

-Give post-operative instructions after procedures

-Follow-up phone calls the day after treatment

**Requirements:**

- X-ray certification required

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and dental assisting systems

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
