Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to our patients. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with selecting eyewear that meets their vision needs and style preferences.

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers in selecting eyeglasses, frames, and lenses based on prescriptions and individual needs
- Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyewear
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and enhancements
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Maintain inventory of frames and lenses
- Process orders and perform administrative tasks related to eyewear sales

Qualifications:

- Experience in sales, preferably in the optical industry
- Knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and contact lenses
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Certification as a Licensed Optician is required
