Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing care and support to individuals in need. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct support to individuals in various activities of daily living (ADLs)

- Assist with indirect activities of daily living (IADLs), housekeeping, meal prep, laundry.
- Ensure clients' rights and dignity are respected at all times
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Drive individuals to appointments as needed
- Support individuals with dementia and work effectively with the elderly and disabled.

Experience:

- Experience in providing direct support and care to individuals
- Proficiency in lifting and transferring individuals safely
- Knowledge of working with people with dementia and alzheimer's.
- Familiarity with assisting in eldercare settings
- Understanding of client rights and maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA.

Pay: $17.69 - $19.00 per hour
