RWC Building Products is Hiring a Counter Sales Near Prescott, AZ
- Assist customers at the counter and over the phone with their roofing, flooring, and building material needs
- Entering sales orders and cash transactions into the company database
- Stock the showroom with any missing material; update the showroom with any new products
- Placing purchase orders for special orders
- Estimate material and jobs for customers
- Drives sales through the engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
- Educate themselves on all products and services the RWC offers to the public
- All other duties as assigned
- Sales and customer service experience in building supply distribution a plus
- Proficient with MS Office, Internet, and software programs
- Roofing background preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) helpful
- Must pass a mandatory background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work under pressure
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Must possess excellent customer service skills and proper phone etiquette
- A high school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and experience in the construction industry are highly desirable.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, and reach
- Ability to perform all job functions in a safe and efficient manner consistent with safety policies and procedures
