Job DetailsResponsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, and implementation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Review and approve project designs and plans, ensuring they comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Monitor project progress, identifying any issues or delays and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement project management strategies and procedures, ensuring they align with company objectives.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and feedback as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the engineering industry, with a focus on civil engineering projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) designation or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and industry regulations and standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
