St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks a Mathematics Teacher to begin August 19, 2024. The mission of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is to know and inspire each child in an inclusive community dedicated to exceptional teaching, learning, and service.
Position: The job involves teaching four year-long sections of US Mathematics, classes taught will be dependent on experience and background. The ideal candidate will be willing to enthusiastically support our growing Robotics program (although no prior experience necessary). A minimum of three years teaching experience is desired. To complete the full-time component of this position, the person will be an advisor to 8-11 students, and sponsor an extracurricular activity (Robotics) or coach a team sport.
Qualifications: BA in Math, Science, Education or Engineering. Applicants should be skilled in the integration of technology as a tool to advance student learning. General flexibility, good humor, and the ability to work effectively as a team member are also essential.
