Responsibilities
  •  Assist the client with Activites of Daily Living
  • Provide Personal Care Services including Bathing and Toileting Assistance, Transfers, Mobility, Dressing and Grooming
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry to help maintain comfortable and healthy living conditions
  • Provide companionship services to reduce senior isolation
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Plan, prepare and serve meals
  • Complete client's shopping or accompany them to do so successfully
  • Transport client to and from appointments
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency
Qualifications
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
  • Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Dependable to complete all assigned shifts
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • Supportive and compassionate
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Take pride in providing high quality care
