LHH is Hiring a Medical Coder Near Portland, OR

LHH Recruitment Solutions is urgently seeking a Medical Coder for our healthcare client located in Portland, OR. This role will be 100% onsite for training, but does have the potential to go remote. The role will be a contract opportunity covering a leave of absence and will be focused solely on medical coding for our client's behavioral health sector.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a Medical Coding Certification
  • Minimum 2 years medical coding experience required
Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and can make sound judgement calls as needed
  • Works well under pressure and can meet deadlines
  • Ability to ramp up quickly and jump into medical coding duties with little to no training
  • Behavioral health coding experience desired, not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR Systems required
Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
