Columbia County Government is Hiring an Assistant Corporation Counsel Near Portage, WI
Full time position in the Columbia County Corporation Counsel Office. This position provides legal services to various County departments and committees, as directed by the Corporation Counsel. Primary areas of responsibility will include child support enforcement and establishment of paternity, mental and alcohol commitments, guardianships and protective placements, zoning, debt collection and other civil legal matters as needed by the County. Qualifications: Law Degree (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school and member in good standing of the State Bar of Wisconsin. Hire Rate: $38.977 per hour. Employment with Columbia County qualifies for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
