Performance Plus is Hiring an Evening Janitor Near Portage, IN
- Clean restrooms, hard surfaces, empty trash and replace liners
- Clean floors and carpets
- Properly use chemicals to maintain the cleanliness of customer sites
- Maintain positive customer relations and display professionalism
- Use timekeeping system, keys, and security codes.
- Report any needed supplies and equipment repairs to the supervisor, along with any potential hazards
- Complete non-routine/emergency cleaning as specified by work orders
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Availability to work assigned hours with precision and attention to detail
- ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
- Previous cleaning experience preferred.
- Employees should possess a valid driver’s license, to ensure travel to respective job sites. (Certain positions require a valid license to operate company vehicle)
- Requires uninhibited manual dexterity, lifting, bending, twisting, pushing and pulling 25 pounds repeatedly and up to 60 pounds (occasionally).
- May be required to work atop ladders and operate mechanical equipment.
- Work is performed in a variety of conditions, may be exposed to extreme temperatures (0-90 degrees)
