Help the optometric physician scribe during comprehensive eye examination, pre-test patients, keep exam room clean, review patient medical history, test visual acuities in exam rooms before doctor enters, responsibly handle patient private information and medical records according to HIPAA regulations, make appointments, referrals, authorize insurance, check patients out and collect payment.
