Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA
- Collect and record data on observable client behavior
- Assist in skill acquisition programs
- Conduct preference assessments
- Provide feedback to clients and families on progress
- Collaborate with the BCBA to make program updates as needed
Requirements:
- Experience or coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Understanding of behavioral health principles
- Familiarity with special education practices
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Comfortable working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health
This position offers an opportunity to work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, gain experience in behavior management, and contribute to their growth and development.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
