Duties
  • You will serve as the Division Supportability Integrator (SI) responsible for overseeing all Division Product Support activities and ensure the technical quality of the division's logistics products and processes.
  • You will assist the Product Support Branch Manager in determining which positions require formal Qualifications or Certifications to satisfy program requirements and provide input to their Individual Development Plan and performance assessments.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring health and sustainability of assigned weapon systems consider supportability in system designs and the elements necessary for suitable and cost effective operation.
  • You will work with the Division Lead Engineer to develop and monitor supportability and engineering processes across the Division.
  • You will prepare technical papers and/or lead investigations to address deficiencies in supportability areas, develop metrics for department programs.
  • You will serve as a member of selected internal/external agency assessments and command-level working group.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.

PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
