Zachys Wine International is Hiring a Treasury Associate Near Port Chester, NY
- Monitor bank accounts for transactions and disseminate information to staff accountants and various other departments. Perform bank reconciliations monthly.
- Process assigned client cash flows and work with account representatives and staff accountants to address queries related to cash flows.
- Monitor and carry-out the daily cash flow requirements – process transfers, monitor deposits, purchase foreign currency, initiate ACHs/wires, etc.
- Vouch all foreign purchase orders and calculate their respective exchange rates
- Periodically perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of cashflow information.
- Process monthly foreign payroll payouts
- Access account information from various online banking sites and retrieve data for assigned cash flow and monthly statement reconciliations
- Assist with intraday maintenance of bank balances and related disbursement reporting, aid in determining funding needs and the management of excess cash
- Regularly utilize various company systems to obtain transaction data applicable to cash flows
- Assist with the processing of transfers, wires, payment reclamations and tax payments including support review and payment approval via online bank sites
- Oversee the handling of fraudulent activity reported via the bank, work to obtain successful resolution and coordinate with internal and external parties
- Assist with bank account administration including signer changes, opening, and closing accounts and coordinating with internal and external parties to ensure updates are completed
- Support management team with enhancing internal reporting capabilities through automation and use of technology
- Assist external audits, prepare schedules, and compile support required for audit selections and other audit-related activities
- Provide aid to the Account Analyst: Assist in managing consignment agreements, consignor payouts, etc.
- Perform month-end reconciliations and accruals as needed
- Perform/manage check deposits as needed
- Perform bi-weekly Stripe POS deposits within NetSuite
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Outlook NetSuite ERP a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of treasury-related experience
- Familiarity with bank Cash Management/Treasury/Payment systems
- Capability to review/reconcile accounts with sound judgment to research open payments issues.
- Initiative to disseminate assignments
- Ability to manage timelines
