Position: Rehab Tech

Pay Rate: Up to $18/hr

As a Rehab Tech, your role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting floor ambulation for all residents as prescribed by the rehab department and MD.
• Administering AAROM/PROM exercises for residents as indicated.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitization of all surfaces and equipment used in the functional maintenance program.
• Assisting in transferring residents in and out of wheelchairs as part of the functional maintenance program.
• Ensuring splints/braces are applied/removed in accordance with MD orders and wearing schedules, with the assistance of nursing staff.
• Promptly reporting any inconsistencies, functional changes, or skin integrity issues of residents to the nursing manager and/or rehab director.
• Accurate and thorough documentation of FAP distance and level of assistance (in nursing terms) daily in the EMR.
• Conducting group wellness exercises with residents on the units (if applicable) as directed by the Rehab therapy staff.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Rehab director.

Requirements:

• High school/GED diploma
• Previous experience as a Rehabilitation Tech preferred
• Experience working in a long-term care facility preferred
