Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

Responsible for supporting production processes and machines. Works as part of a team of engineers that develop and maintain manufacturing processes.

Typical task breakdown:

• Assist machine operators with machine faults, recoveries, and setups
• Document process changes
• Maintain engineering documentation: Control plans, Tool lists, etc.
• Troubleshoot and correct causes for nonconforming parts

Interaction with team:

• Largely independent work within a team of engineers

Work environment:

Factory. Expected to be on the factory floor 50% of time

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelors in manufacturing engineering or equivalent degree and 5years experience is preferred
• Associate degree and 6 years’ experience acceptable
• 10 years’ experience with no education acceptable

Technical Skills (Required)

• CNC machine experience
• CNC machine troubleshooting experience
• Indicating a tool/part
• Demonstrated problem solving capability

(Desired)

• G-code writing capability
• Experience with precision grinding and/or honing
• CAM experience

Salary: $70,000.00 per year
