Responsibilities and Duties
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss treatment plan with patients and answer any questions they have
- Prep sterilized equipment and set-up and break down treatment room
- Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories
- Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
- Assist dentist for all procedures
- Assist Hygienist when needed
- Take accurate Intra-oral scans with scanner
- Take x-rays
- Assist dentist during exams
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 1-2 years of experience in dental assisting preferred
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
