Compass Mechanical Repair is Hiring an Automotive Repair Technician Near Ponderay, ID
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in automotive repair;
- Possess a high-level skill set to diagnose and repair all aspects of automotive vehicles including troubleshooting complex diagnostic problems related to engines, transmissions, AC systems, drivelines, and electrical systems;
- Must have experience and be proficient in engine repair (head gaskets, removal and installation of long block and running complete engines) as well as suspension, transmission, brake, and clutch repair.;
- Experience with light diesel repair is a plus. A high level of personal integrity is required as well as basic tools;
- Applicants are required to have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
- Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles;
- Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service;
- Test the functionality of parts and systems
