Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Polk Correctional Institution, located in Polk City, Florida.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (Behavioral Health) (CNA) works under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. This professional assists patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license Required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current CPR
• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: 3 Day Shifts per week 7am-7:30pm, with rotating weekends
