Patient Advocate (Plymouth, MN)
This phone-based role provides support, guidance, and advocacy to ensure patients receive the highest quality care and have their needs met throughout their order process for RespirTech device.
Your role :
Responsible for the initial contact with patients. Provide support and guidance ensuring they have a clear understanding of the order / shipment process, equipment options, and available resources.
Help patients navigate and understand their benefits information including financial responsibility.
Provide education to patients regarding healthcare equipment, treatment plans, and benefits of therapy.
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.
You're the right fit if :
You have a High School Diploma.
You’ve acquired 3 years of experience in a customer service position. Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME), healthcare or in phone-based experience is preferred.
Your skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, strong computer skills including data entry, detail orientation, and problem solving.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .
You’re a have an excellent communicator (verbal / written), patient and empathetic, work well independently or as part of a team, and have a deep commitment to patient rights and wellbeing.
