Turley Wine Cellars is hiring a part-time Tasting Room Ambassador to work 3-4 days per week (Thursday-Monday), generally for 8 hour shifts. We provide a competitive hourly wage plus incentive pay, gratuities, company bonus, profit sharing/401(k) and employee wine program.

Job Description
We are looking for someone who has a passion for wine and service and recent hospitality experience (tasting room/restaurant/retail wine sales/hotel). Our tasting rooms are generally quite busy so this job requires a good amount of hustle. Responsibilities include:

• Providing an educational, memorable tasting experience for guests
• Learning our wines, winemaking practices, and history to tell the TWC story
• Processing sales transactions in POS and accurately maintaining customer data
• Effectively balancing multiple tables while delivering personalized experiences
• Performing opening and closing procedures, stocking wine and moving cases, washing and polishing glassware, and keeping guest areas, supply stations and restrooms clean and organized

Job Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Available to work 3-4 shifts per week including weekends and holidays
• Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
• Standing and walking for long periods of time
• Warm, gracious and professional demeanor
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
• Ability to quickly and easily navigate technology used for sales transactions and customer information
• Work well with others and maintain a professional demeanor
• Sufficient wine knowledge, experience, interpersonal skills, and physical ability to successfully perform all aspects of job
