Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or POS system
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and dining space
- Upsell additional menu items or promotions to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding food handling, safety, and sanitation
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary skills or experience working in a kitchen environment is a plus
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or POS system
- Strong sales and upselling abilities
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
