We are seeking candidates for Retail Store Manager roles to work 9:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday through Friday, and 8:00am-4:00pm on Saturday. What a Retail Store Manager will do:
- Open the store at the beginning of operation hours and close it at day's end
- Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans, and maintain contact with internal key stakeholders to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals
- Establish and control budgets and costs to maintain profitability
- Seek ways to better promote the store, the product lines, and services within the store
- Develop and maintain a schedule of promotions centered around seasonal and holiday sales
- Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel are on hand to provide outstanding customer service
- Handle unusual or difficult inquiries/situations through direct personal action or refer to the appropriate individual
- Create a clean and safe environment that complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
What you need to be a Retail Store Manager:
- 5 years of experience working in a managerial position in a retail environment, outlet experience is a plus
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Superb organizational and management skills, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to strategize visually appealing store displays
- Ability to operate basic business software programs – Microsoft Excel, Word, IMS
- Knowledge of SAP and Shopify POS system is a plus
- Technical knowledge of fishing tackle and a passion for the sport
