Plainville Plating Co., Inc. is Hiring a Quality Engineer Near Plainville, CT
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain work instructions for operators and prepare data cards for approval by Tier 1 customers.
- Create FMEAs.
- Coordinate with Quality Manager on compliance audits (ISO, AS, Nadcap, etc.).
- Create and perform process capability studies.
- Monitor Quality KPIs
- APQP
- Technical degree and one year of functional experience or three years’ experience as a Quality Engineer.
- Previous experience in Nadcap or similar (IATF) audits.
- Previous experience with ISO 9001/AS 9100.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High competency with Microsoft software, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Deadline and detail oriented.
- Experience with AS 13100.
- ISO9001 or AS9100 Lead Auditor certification a plus.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience with quoting prices.
